NYMROD, born Corry Stokes, is a rapper out of Brooklyn, NY. During incarceration, Nymrod met fellow rapper Max B. who taught him the art of writing music. He joined forces with Max B. and fellow rappers Jim Jones and Camron. ROD was featured in Jim Jones' video “Ballin”. After studying various aspects of the music industry, Nymrod decided to take his artistry to the next level. In 2010, he was featured on the Unsigned Artist Explosion Tour and rocked venues nationwide.

Taking his bars far beyond the average rapper, ROD dropped his debut Album  “I Am”, independently in September 2012. Since the release of his debut album, it has received nearly 1,000 downloads and close to 5,000 views.  He also dropped a mixtape “My Town” in February 2013, which got a total of 20,000 views on various websites. Wanting to be more than just an artist, Nymrod developed his label Federal District ENT. Corp. now Federal District Records, which which he released his first major album”The Tom Crown Affair” and multiple singles. He also has released his first artist under the Federal District name, Joey Battz. In addition, Nymrod has also recruited, signed new artists to Federal District Records such Venomiss, Bad Ass, Julz, Stillamess, Comedian Qwizman, and Federal's own Fleet DJ, DJ Quiet storm.

He has worked with artists like PMD of the legendary iconic hip-hop duo EPMD, Redman, Spliff Star, Junior Reid, Jim Jones, Maxx B, Tyga, VADO & Fred The Godson. Nymrod released his first album titled “The Tom Crown Affair” which was released on April 5, 2014 globally worldwide under his own label Federal District Records. This album is crafted to take you on a journey through the eyes of a “sneaky thief” as stated in an interview on the album itself. If you have seen the movie you will understand the reason why Nymrod decided to craft the name around a business mogul, entrepreneur, and art enthusiast. The album has been released on iTunes, Google Play, AmazonMP3 etc. for download. Then be sure to go download and listen his current Mixtape released 2014 entitled “The Nigga Show” and previous projects “I Am” as well as “My Town” out on datpiff.com. Nymrod then started working on his “out of the box” project Mr. & Mrs. Smith, which was released globally under Protect Ya Neck Records, Inc. in April 2015. There are many features on this album and it allows you to see a different side of Nymrod displaying his versatile skills as an Emcee. This album Includes hits like Gun Talk and Heart to Heart

NYMROD released “It's Just Different” under Protect Ya Neck Records October 14, 2015. It's Just Different showcases Nymrod in an edgy way, all while allowing the music to embody what sets him apart from every other lyricist. In 2016, Nymrod released his lastest EP release “Predicate” with hit single “Hell Yeah” which quickly became an anthem in the hiphop market.

A good portion of Nymrod's fan base comes from his performances. Nymrod has performed at underground venues up and down the east coast and some of the west coast. He takes pride in the ability to work a crowd and command the stage. When Nymrod is on stage you cannot help but to take notice. He demands attention as only a true star can, with ease.  When accompanied by his label Federal District, you know you are in for a great show.  He averages about 8 shows monthly. One of most recent performance was At Enclaves in Atlanta, Georgia for the BET Awards Industry Insider Event. Followed by multiple venues in Washington DC, New York and Niagara Falls, Canada, and with a strong and loyal fanbase Nymrod and Federal District Records are becoming a strong force in this industry. Nymrod released This Life featuring Julz in 2017 and does not plan on stopping the momentum with scheduled release of Slam on August 11, 2017, The Weekend ft. The Weeknd, AYOOO, and more!
