Dancehall artiste Skip Da Line recently released single ‘Melanin’ is arguably his most successful track of 2021, Melanin debuted at number seventeen on the Reggae iTunes - US Charts within a day of its release on March 23rd.
Since release, the single has amassed over 25,000 streams cumulatively across all major streaming platforms with Spotify being the main contributor.
Following the streaming success Skip Da Line traveled to Portland, Jamaica at the world famous 'Monkey Island' beach to host and film the music video dedicated to all the beautiful melanated women of this world.

THE SONG IS FOR ALL SHADES OF WOMEN, IT TEACHES THEM TO LOVE WHO THEY ARE WHILE ENTERTAINING THEM AND I FEEL ITS THE RELATABILITY OF THE SONG THAT IS MAKING IT SO IMPACTFUL”
