Saratoga Migz Interview With Desert Storm Radio

Born & and raised in Brownsville Brooklyn, Saratoga Migz is a recording artist and clothing designer coming from a line of musical influences that include his father. Raised on Saratoga Ave. by his grandmother and both parents, he recognized music as motivation for his artistry. Being that his father was a DJ he realized it was apart of his DNA to become an artist. He began writing at the age of 8 years old, utilizing it as a way to express himself freely while sharing his story with the world.

Suffering the loss of his father in 1999 left him devastated, leaving Migz to learn life lessons and fend for himself, hard knocks landed him a prison bid of 3 years. While incarcerated his pursuit of music became his calling and with that came the release of his first album "Jail Back To Hell". Several other stints in prison, caused a slowdown in his album production. Past incarceration, found Saratoga Migz in a resilient state of mind using pain from his struggles to help him create two albums in the short span of just 6 weeks. Although feed back was good from music scouts and executives from Atlantic Records, unfortunately it didn't land Migz and record deal. Migz turned towards fashion as his next venture to success. The terminology "Follow Dat Bag" (FDB) was phrase Saratoga Migz learned in prison that meant "you can acquire anything inside that's on the outside, just "Follow Dat Bag" and get what you need! Saratoga Migz branded the clothing line based on it being the product that's necessary.; he has the quality product to give to the masses. Using FDB as a mean to finance his musical career, Migz proceeded to place his clothing line for sale in various popular venues in NYC. A host of celebrities wearing his clothes, promoted the brand and solidified his role as a young articulate artist, entrepreneur, and prominent business owner. The proof is shown in his struggle, Saratoga Migz is definitely a talented individual that preserves through hardship and adversity.
